| Selection criteria | • ਆਰ.ਸੀ.ਐਫ. ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪ੍ਰੈਂਟਿਸ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ (Written Exam) ਜਾਂ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। 1️⃣ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਸੂਚੀ (Merit List) ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ • ਮੈਰਿਟ ਫਾਰਮੂਲਾ: ਮੈਰਿਟ ਲਿਸਟ 10ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ ITI ਦੇ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਔਸਤ (Average) ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ: = 10+ITI = 2 • 10ਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਰਤ: 10ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 50% ਅੰਕ ਹੋਣੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹਨ। (ਜੇਕਰ CGPA ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 9.5 ਨਾਲ ਗੁਣਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਕੱਢੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ)। • ITI ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ: ਸਬੰਧਤ ਟ੍ਰੇਡ ਵਿੱਚ NCVT/SCVT ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ITI ਦੇ ਅੰਕ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। 2️⃣ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਅੰਕ (Tie-Breaking) ਆਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਯਮ • ਜੇਕਰ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਕ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ: • ਉਮਰ (Age): ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। • ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਾਲ: ਜੇਕਰ ਉਮਰ ਵੀ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੇ 10ਵੀਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। 3️⃣ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਚੋਣ ਦੇ ਪੜਾਅ • ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ (Document Verification): ਸ਼ਾਰਟਲਿਸਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। • ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ (Medical Fitness): ਅੰਤਿਮ ਜੁਆਇਨਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਫਿਟਨੈਸ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। |

| How to Apply | 1️⃣ Candidates are required to apply ONLINE by visiting www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in Detailed instruction for filling up ONLINE applications will be available on the website • Candidates are required to log on the RCF website www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in provided for filling ONLINE applications and fill up the personal details/BIO-DATA etc. carefully • Candidates should ensure their name, father name, date of birth exactly match as recorded in Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any deviation found during Document Verification will lead to cancellation of candidature and also debarment. • Candidates are advised to indicate their active mobile number and valid e-mail ID in the ONLINE application and keep them active during the entire engagement process as all important messages will be sent by email/SMS which will be treated as deemed to have been read by the candidates. • Candidates trying to submit more than one application with different particulars like Name/Father’s name/community/Photo(face)/educational and/ or technical qualifications etc. or with different Email ID/Mobile Number are advised that all such applications will be summarily rejected. • Candidates have to keep printout of their application. If found eligible, he/she will be called for Document Verification and the print out of Online application is required to be produced at the time of Document Verification. 2️⃣ SCANNED PHOTOGRAPH/SOFT COPY OF PHOTOGRAPH: • Candidates are required to upload their passport size coloured photograph (size 3.5cm x 3.5cm, not older than three months from the date of application in JPG/JPEG format, 100 PDI, Size of the image/file should be between 20 kb-70 kb) with clear front view of the candidates without cap and sunglasses. Candidates may note that RCF may, at any stage, reject the applications for uploading old/unclear photograph or any significant variations between photograph uploaded in the application form and the actual physical appearance of the candidate. Candidates are advised to keep two additional copies of the same photograph ready with them for bringing at the time of Document verification. 3️⃣ SCANNED SIGNATURE/SOFT COPY OF IMAGE OF SIGNATURE: • Candidates are also required to upload their signature (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file should be between 20 kb-30 kb). 4️⃣ LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION: • The ONLINE application, complete in all respects, can be submitted through ONLINE process to RCF up to 05.09.2026 till 24.00 hours. No physical copy of the application is required to be sent to RCF. Even if it is received, no cognizance will be given to it. |
