Eligibility Criteria
Radiographer
- 0+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution with Science.
- B.Sc. in Radiography from a recognized University/Institution.
- Two years of experience in the relevant field.
Operation Theatre Assistant
- 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution with Science.
- B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized University/Institution.
- Two years of experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit
- General: 18 to 37 years as of January 1, 2026.
Relaxations: - SC/BC: Up to 42 years (5 years relaxation).
- Physical Handicapped: Up to 47 years (10 years relaxation).
- Ex-Servicemen: Deduct armed forces service period from actual age; if resultant age does not exceed max limit by more than 3 years, deemed eligible.
- Punjab Govt./Boards/Corporations employees & all States/Central Govt. employees: Up to 45 years.
- Widows, divorcees, and certain categories of married women: Up to 40 years.
- Contractual employees of BFUHS & its constituent institutes: Relaxation equivalent to the period worked.
Key Terms & Conditions
- Punjabi Language Requirement: Must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent examination in Punjabi.
- Selection Process: Based on the inter-se-merit of the written test and marks of experience. Minimum qualifying marks in the written test is 33%.
- Distance Education: Degrees/diplomas obtained through Distance Learning Education within India will not be considered
- Application Process: Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately with necessary fees.
- Reservation: Only SC, BC, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disability, Freedom Fighters, Sports Persons, and EWS of Punjab domicile are eligible for reservation benefits.
