Eligibility Criteria (as on June 1, 2026)

Age Limit

  • MMGS-II: Minimum 25 years, Maximum 32 years
  • MMGS-III: Minimum 28 years, Maximum 38 years
  • SMGS-IV: Minimum 32 years, Maximum 45 years

Age Relaxation

  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
  • Persons With Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years

Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • For detailed eligibility criteria (educational qualifications and experience) for each post, candidates must refer to ANNEXURE – I of the official notice dated June 1, 2026.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) applying for reserved vacancies will be entitled to a 5% relaxation in minimum marks where 60% is stipulated in Educational Qualifications (i.e., minimum 55% marks).
  • Percentage obtained in Graduation should be calculated to the nearest two decimals. CGPA/OGPA should be converted to percentage.

Important Instructions

  • Nationality/Citizenship: Indian Citizen, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before Jan 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (with a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India).
  • Candidates must produce relevant original documents and photocopies for category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, and work experience at the time of interview.
  • No change of category or other details will be permitted after online application registration.
  • Candidates who previously held a similar post in Bank of India are not eligible.
  • Candidates must be ready to work anywhere in India.
  • Candidates can apply for only one post. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid application will be retained, and fees for other applications will be forfeited.
  • OBC candidates must ensure they do not belong to the creamy layer and possess a certificate with the non-creamy layer clause. Creamy layer OBC candidates should apply as General.
  • Ex-Servicemen have no reservation in the Officers’ Cadre.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are eligible for reservation as per “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.”
