Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on June 30, 2026)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 24 years for General/EWS candidates.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have already passed the prescribed qualification as on the date of reckoning eligibility criteria. Results awaited are NOT eligible.
- Qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University/Institute as a regular full-time course.
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates for reserved seats).
- CGPA/OGPA must be converted to percentage as per Board/University/Institute norms.
- Only regular full-time ITI courses recognized by NCVET/SCVT are considered.
- Diploma/Graduation/ITI in specified Branch/Subjects only will be considered.
- Candidates with qualifications acquired through part-time/correspondence/distance education mode are not eligible.
- Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications (BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA) or pursuing higher qualifications and having completed them on or before joining apprenticeship training are not eligible.
- Candidates with job experience of one year or more after attaining the qualification are not eligible.
- Candidates who have completed five years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible.
Important Notes
- Candidates applying for more than one Trade/Discipline will be summarily rejected.
- Preference will be given to candidates applying for Apprenticeship training for the first time.
- For PwBD candidates, a Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, is mandatory.
